The planters are in the shape of ‘commodes’, typical French bedside tables, which feature three lively curved drawers. Entirely hand painted with the ‘Trompe-l’oeil’ technique, a naturalistic painting technique based on the use of chiaroscuro and perspective, which reproduces reality in such a way as to appear in the eyes of the viewer as an illusion of reality.
